The law enforcement world is full of heroes.  The men and women in blue spend days, nights, weekends, and holidays away from their families so we can rest easy at night knowing they're out there keeping us safe.  Many times in their careers, law enforcement officers are called on to do things that are extraordinary, putting their lives on the line for complete strangers.

Each year, the Oregon Peace Officers Association holds an awards banquet the honor the heroic deeds performed by officers throughout the State of Oregon.  Feel free to read the stories of those who have been presented awards in the past.
