Congratulations to the 2007 - 2008 OPOA Scholarship Recipients

The 2007 -2008 Academic Scholarship was awarded to two individuals this year:

Christian Dean Hennessy is the son of Sgt. Dean Hennessy of Oregon City Police Department.  Christian graduated from Oregon City High School with a 3.97 GPA, ranking 15th in a class of 479.  He is a freshman at Oregon State University, and plans to major in civil engineering.  His motivation and hard work are sure to take him far in life!

Randalee Paige Winter is sponsored by past OPOA president Rick Igou of Independence Police Department, where she is serving as an Intern and volunteering as a Cadet.  Randalee is a second year student at Western Oregon University where she is majoring in Criminal Justice and minoring in Spanish.  Her love and dedication to law enforcement will make her as asset to this field!
