OPOA's professional training programs are recognized as among the best available in the state. We also host many national programs and make them available to Oregon officers. OPOA Members receive a special discounted rate for most OPOA trainings.

Each year, the Oregon Peace Officers Association offers a $1,000 scholarship opportunity to a dependent of an OPOA member or members.

OPOA provides a forum for bringing legislative proposals to the attention of the law enforcement community and the citizens of Oregon. We are committed to programs that promote the safety of the citizens of Oregon, and the welfare of the law enforcement community.
Through many special committees, OPOA involves its members in the operation of the association, and allows for them to have a direct impact on a multitude of pending issues.
