Training Program

We have announced even more trainings, check them out now!

The Oregon Peace Officers Association has re-dedicated itself to being much more active in our training program. The OPOA offers trainings on a full range of law enforcement topics throughout the state of Oregon. A list of trainings that have been given in the past is available here.

We have a full training staff, consisting of a training coordinator and assistant training coordinators, who are constantly looking to offer training to meet the needs of the Law Enforcement Community.

We are continually looking for the following:

An agency that would like to co-host with us (We do most of the work, but do like partners).
A training topic that is wanted or needed.
Suggestions on instructors, topics, or locations that we might be able to contact to put on training.

If you have any information to help us, or suggestions on how we can help you, please let us know. Training announcements for the approved classes will be posted in the Upcoming Trainings (linked at left) portion of this website as soon as they are finalized and available.
