Membership

The Oregon Peace Officers Association currently has over 1,300 members from all areas of the law enforcement community. OPOA members include both sworn and non-sworn criminal justice professionals throughout the State of Oregon, in addition to three subchapters representing special segments within law enforcement.

We need your support to enable us to continue working on behalf of Oregon’s Peace Officers and to ensure that your voice is heard:

  • To develop and present quality training to meet your needs.
  • To promote effective legislation on matters related to crime and public safety.
  • To promote effective communication and cooperation within the law enforcement community, and with the citizens of Oregon.
  • To advocate for the safety and security of our communities.
  • To represent officers at all levels in city, county, state and federal agencies
