Calibre Press

calibrepressFor thirty years, the Street Survival Seminar has provided hundreds of thousands of police officers with insights and ideas for staying safe on patrol. Held more than three dozen times every year, the Seminar has visited virtually every state in the Union.

Department of Public Safety Standards and Training

dpsstThe mission of the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training is to promote excellence in public safety by delivering quality training and developing and upholding professional standards for police, fire, corrections, parole and probation, and telecommunications personnel, in addition to licensing private security providers and private investigators in the state of Oregon.

DPSST also provides staffing for the Public Safety Memorial Fund, and strives to provide resources and certification programs that public safety officers and local public safety organizations need to maintain the highest professional skill standards, stewardship and service to Oregon's communities and citizens.

Federal Law Enforcement Training Center

fletcThe Federal Law Enforcement Training Center serves as an interagency law enforcement training organization for 90 Federal agencies. The FLETC also provides services to state, local, tribal, and international law enforcement agencies. The FLETC is headquartered at Glynco, GA.

LEDS Job Listings

ledsLaw Enforcement Data Systems (LEDS) is a division of the Oregon State Police.  LEDS keeps a list of open positions in criminal justice agencies throughout the state.

Oregon Executive Development Institute

eodiThe Oregon Executive Development Institute (OEDI) was created in 1989 by a group of forward-thinking public safety agency heads to provide leadership training to Oregon’s public safety executives. This group sought to fill a void in leadership training available to agency heads and their command staff, most of whom could not afford to attend prestigious programs such as the FBI National Academy. OEDI was originally created as a partnership with Oregon’s Public Safety Training Academy and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
