Brief Overview:

Discussions on the neurobiology of trauma and how it affects victims of sexual assault, photographing injury evidence, drug facilitated assault, explanation of the SAFE process, victim care and assistance and investigator and prosecutor tips and best practices for a successful prosecution provided by a current Chief Deputy District Attorney.

SANE Diane Branson from Salem Hospital will discuss local procedures and outline best practices for victim support and cooperation during evidence collection.
