Brief Overview:

This class is designed for anyone who needs to know anything about search and seizure: patrol officers, supervisors, detectives, street crimes/narcotics officers, parole and probation officers, deputy district attorneys and District Attorneys.  Learn vital knowledge about search and seizure laws and recent court decisions.   Also learn techniques and best practices on what to seize during criminal and civil forfeiture, questions to ask while interviewing those in possession of assets to be seized, seizing intangible assets, real property and more.  Case examples will be presented that draw from what is discussed throughout the day, to include lessons learned.
